How do we secure them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To answer these questions, we first need to know exactly:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How the false ceiling is attached to the load-bearing structure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The layout of electrical and heating systems &#8220;hidden&#8221; behind them<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What material they are made from<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How high is the space created behind the false ceiling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The most common <strong>types of false ceiling<\/strong> are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A Removable &#8220;tiles&#8221; made from mineral wool, gypsum, wood or polystyrene;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>B Metal or wood &#8220;grid and battens&#8221;;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>C &#8220;Continuous&#8221; made from sheets of plasterboard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/seriana2025.genomagency.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/vincolo_controsoffitto-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"vincolo metallico in controsoffitto\" class=\"wp-image-7945\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seriana2025.genomagency.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/vincolo_controsoffitto-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/seriana2025.genomagency.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/vincolo_controsoffitto-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/seriana2025.genomagency.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/vincolo_controsoffitto-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/seriana2025.genomagency.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/vincolo_controsoffitto.jpg 1050w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"process-of-carrying-out-seismic-work-on-false-ceilings\">Process of carrying out seismic work on false ceilings<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>No matter which of the situations described above applies, <strong>the Seriana S.p.A. operating procedure<\/strong> comprises the following steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Before any designing can begin, the site must be thoroughly inspected to determine its current state.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During the execution stage, once the false ceiling is removed, a stair tower is assembled using mobile scaffolds and\/or &#8220;tube and fitting&#8221; scaffolding in the area where we will be carrying out our earthquake strengthening work in order to pass through the false ceiling&#8217;s suspension grid and then create a work platform on top of it for the members of our team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Special care is taken to cut through the sheets of plasterboard &#8220;surgically&#8221; and control dust, both the dust resulting from cutting and the dust that has built up over the years behind the false ceiling.
